Michele holds dual positions as CIO of the Hindmarsh family office and Significant. He has over 20 years national and international early-stage venture capital management experience, managing three early-stage venture capital funds, investing in start-ups in a wide range of sectors, with some originating from deep university IP and others from independent founders all sharing common ground as innovative businesses with global disruption potential.

Through his life-experience in growing up in many different countries exposed to many diverse cultures, Michele has the ability to perceive innovative concepts through a unique, attention to detail fine-tuned lens making big picture ideas a reality.

Michele is an active and well-known member of the Canberra innovation community, an angel investor in his personal capacity and a mentor to several start-ups.

Michele holds several Director and Company Secretary positions across venture fund portfolios and is highly experienced in opportunity evaluation, structuring and deal-making as well as managing ventures to successful exit, which have included trade sales, IPOs and licensing deals.
