Meet Michele Troni

I grew up in several countries around the world, learning along the way several languages and of several cultures. This has made me open-minded, flexible, curious, comfortable when dealing with uncertainty, adversity and complexity, all of which I found extremely useful in venture capital.

I first came to Canberra to follow my father’s diplomatic posting and was then captivated by a city with so little past and so much future, a promising startup in itself. I have now lived in Canberra for 20 years, a wonderful place to grow my 11-years’ old twins. I have had the privilege of contributing to the creation of what has now become a vibrant innovation ecosystem, to which I continue to contribute as Chair of Capital Angels, Griffin Accelerator investor and mentor and member of the CBRIN Advisory Board.
