Epicorp was founded by Australian National University, CSIRO, University of Canberra and NICTA now Data-61 (CSIRO).

Epicorp works closely with companies to provide short term growth capital through lending facilities. These lending programs are intended to help both early-stage and established businesses overcome capital constraints and increase revenue capacity to fuel longer-term growth. Companies qualify for these flexible repayment loans by having a well-developed business model that demonstrates the ability to service the loan (up to AUD $250,000) over a 12 to 24-month term with an appropriate level of revenue or be in the planning stages of an equity event or cash injection.
